Meet Sofi

My name is Sofie, and I am from Denmark. I am a dedicated yoga instructor with over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Rishikesh, India. I specialize in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga, and my practice is deeply shaped by my immersion in yoga philosophy, meditation, anatomy, pranayama, and mantra.

With a rich background in dance, I bring exceptional body awareness into all my teachings, making movement an integral part of my approach.
Dance and movement have always been powerful tools for my mental well-being, guiding me toward inner balance and self-awareness.

Drawing from my extensive experience in various movement therapies, I have created a unique program called "The Movements of 5 Elements."
This program is designed to foster self-discovery through the exploration of the five foundational elements—Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Through guided classes that connect deeply with emotions, this practice provides a pathway to deeper self-understanding, encouraging introspection and personal growth.

In all my sessions, I emphasize creating a balanced and safe environment where students can express themselves freely, engage in meaningful conversations, and explore their inner worlds without judgment. I am deeply committed to guiding others on their journey toward self-awareness and holistic well-being.


I divide my time between Nepal and India, living and breathing the vibrant cultures of both countries. I host transformative retreats in Rishikesh and Goa, India, as well as Pokhara and Chitwan, Nepal, blending yoga, meditation, and movement therapy with the unique beauty of each location.

- When I'm not hosting retreats, I offer regular drop-in yoga classes and dance therapy movement sessions, often in the serene settings of Rishikesh or Pokhara. My classes are a space for self-discovery, where I guide students through both the physical and emotional layers of yoga and movement.

- In addition to yoga, I have a passion and a background as a dancer specialized in breakdancing (Breaking). I lead workshops in the same cities, inviting people to connect with the rhythm of music and dive into hip hop culture. These sessions are open to everyone—whether you're a dancer or just someone curious to try something new, it's all about having fun and learning together.

- As the founder of The Movement of 5 Elements, I created this transformative program to guide people of all backgrounds on a journey of self-discovery through movement. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the five elements—Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth—this experience invites participants to explore and connect with each element as a pathway to understanding their inner world. Each element symbolizes distinct qualities and emotions, helping individuals access a fuller spectrum of their being and fostering a sense of harmony.

Meaning of "Tattva Ananda"

Tattva Ananda embodies the essence of inner
harmony and truth, rooted in the Sanskrit terms "Tattva," meaning the fundamental principle or essence, and "Ananda," representing bliss or pure joy. Together, they symbolize the journey toward self-discovery, inner peace, and alignment with one's true
nature.

My focus is to guide individuals through holistic practices, such as yoga, movement therapy, and meditation, to reconnect with the essential elements of life—space, air, fire, water, and earth.
My offerings promote balance, well-being, and a deeper understanding of the self, encouraging personal growth and lasting transformation.
